Farm Europe is a multicultural think tank that aims to stimulate thinking on rural economies. Farm Europe works with European Member State partners offering networking and exchange of ideas to generate ambitious, innovative, forward-looking political alternatives for decision-making. Farm Europe’s vision is that rural areas are confronted with major challenges, such as fierce competition, volatility of markets and consumption trends, and climate change. Therefore, so public policies must move forward to improve the ability to build coherent and multidimensional strategies for agriculture and food production. Farm Europe tries to identify pathways to build efficient policies in in the areas of agriculture, food, environment, energy and trade. Farm Europe has produced a number of policy-related papers, including those focussed on Common Agricultural Policy (such as “Shaping EU agriculture, rural areas and wealth for the next decades”) and Covid-19-associated difficulties.
