Joint Research Centre


Collaboration

The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission's science and knowledge service. The JRC carries out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policymakers.

FACCE-JPI and the JRC collaborate at both programmatic and institutional levels. The JRC joined the FACCE-JPI Scientific Advisory Board as an Associate Member in March 2018.

Key activities

  • Study visit, “Exploring Opportunities for Collaboration Between FACCE-JPI and the EC’s Joint Research Centre (JRC)”, (Ispra October 2017)
  • JRC and FACCE-JPI decided on an Action Plan for Collaboration (November 2017; FACCE-JPI Implementation Plan 2018-20).
