Prof. Frank Ewert, Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) Chair

Professor Ewert (Chair of the SAB) is Scientific Director of Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) and Professor of Crop Science at the Institute of Crop Science and Resource Conservation (INRES) at the University of Bonn.

He is interested in physiology of crop and agro-ecosystems as well as in system analysis and modelling of crop and cropping systems. Previously, he has worked in the UK, Denmark and the Netherlands before taking up his current position at the University of Bonn.

He is a partner in the FACCE-JPI Knowledge Hub MACSUR, leading the Crop Modelling Theme (CropM) and participates in the Agricultural Model Intercomparison and Improvement Project (AgMIP). Furthermore, he is a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Animal Change Research Programme.
